Brenda & Kevin

Mount Druid does not do formal, and that's the point. Brenda and Kevin were married in the Tin Chapel at Castletown Geoghegan, candles lit and a guitar by the window, with the rest of the day spread across 100 acres of Westmeath parkland: a boathouse by the water, a barn for the night, and guests bedded down afterwards in yurts and shepherd's huts rather than driving home. A wedding that ran on its own terms from start to finish.

We also went out with them a second time, up into the hills once the snow came. Forestry tracks, a teal suit and a wide-brimmed hat against all that white, and a long pink light on the slope behind them. No schedule, no guests waiting, just a couple willing to go out in the cold and see what we got.
